Sangadorjee Heritage Farm House traces its origins to 1819, during the era of the Kingdom of Sikkim. The property is associated with the family history of Sangadoree Lepcha, remembered locally as a Thekidar involved in land-revenue collection during that period.

Over generations, the farmhouse remained connected to the land, family and village around it. In 2021, the property was renovated to improve guest comfort while retaining the warm wooden, stone and traditional character that gives the house its identity today.
